This top was designed using the transformation reconstruction method to hide darts in the style lines and eliminate side seams for a smooth, seamless finish. The A-line silhouette is shaped using hook-and-eye closures along the seams that add both structure and movement. The result is a bold yet easily wearable piece with a sharp, industrial edge.
Subtractive Patterning Dress

I explored Subtractive Cutting, a technique where fabric is strategically removed to shape a garment rather than using traditional flat pattern-making. By cutting out intentional shapes and circular forms, this method challenged conventional garment construction, leading to abstract silhouettes and innovative design discoveries.

Matching set inspired by vintage bullet bra and flat knitted hosiery lines. I mixed soft intimate style lines with a sharp and structured silhouette.
